OP ART

Op art, short for optical art, is a style of visual art that uses optical illusions. Op art works are abstract, with many better known pieces created in black and white. Typically, they give the viewer the impression of movement, hidden images, flashing and vibrating patterns, or of swelling or warping. Some of the most notable artists are Bridget Riley, Joseph Albers, Victor Vasarely and Richard Allen.

The Hearts in this project look great if you use only warm colors for the inside of the heart and only cool colors for the area outside the heart, or vice versa. This simple step really makes these hearts pop!
