Hatching Line Dragons
After creating a contour line drawing of a dragon’s head, You will create depth by using different values with marker. The art is enhanced by creating deeper values with hatching and cross hatching techniques.
What is Hatching and Cross Hatching?
Hatching - drawing lots of small lines that go in the same direction to create light to dark values.
Cross Hatching - drawing lots of small lines criss-crossing each other to create light to dark values.
You will also learn how to use directional line to create your dragon head by building up the lines and
values to create form and depth in your drawing.
