Heather Galler Landscapes

Today you will explore folk art and create an original artwork influenced by the folk art of artist Heather Galler. You will learn about her styles and ideas and make a vibrant landscape filled with alternating patterns.

Folk art is artwork or crafts that are part of a tradition from a certain geographic area. Folk art can be paintings, sculptures, basketry or utensils and often feature highly decorative design, bright bold colors, flattened perspective and strong shapes in simple arrangements.
